William Sidney Mount: The Education of an Artist Information

This exciting exhibition explores the career development of America’s best known genre painter, Stony Brook native William Sidney Mount. View Mount paintings, drawn from the Long Island Museum’s own collection, aside works of other American artists who had a tremendous influence upon his work. On display in the Art Museum through April, 2011.

Regular museum hours:
Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Sunday, noon – 5 p.m.
 
Regular admission:
$9/adults, $7/seniors, $4/students 6-17 and college students with I.D. Museum members and children under six admitted free.
